Profile

I am currently in my final year of my PhD in Computational Condensed Matter Physics, focusing on the development of a Genetic Algorithm that is suitable for determining crystal structures. This code is written in Fortran 90 and is being incorporated into the ab initio plane-wave Density Functional Theory code CASTEP. I also enjoy writing XHTML/CSS based web-pages, and I am currently the webmaster of the University's Jewish Society. As well as extensive Fortran experience also have written a large number of shell scripts, mainly in CSH and BASH, to aid my studies.
